My philosophical hero is Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, first an engineer, then a writer. I hope to follow that same path, though my writing is much less consequential.
I hold PhD in Computer Science, was previously a Lecturer & Sr. Research Engineer in the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University. I've also been an Assistant Professor and Director of Launch Labs, School of Business and Economics, Chapman University. I'm the founder or co-founder of multiple companies, most failures, a few acquired, one public. I hold nine issued US patents and am a member of the Fallbrook CA VFW.
I am a husband and a father, a homeschool mentor and a volunteer with multiple organizations. I serve on the board of Good Dog! Service Canines.
I'm working on scripts, novels, and short stories. As things get moving I'll update. I have been working on some blurbs:
"The kind of once-in-a-generation writer that truly makes one appreciate being dead." - Tycho Brahe
"I read it cover-to-cover. Well, I read the front cover, then the back cover, then put it back." - Some dude, in a bookstore, in the future, maybe
"I'm the goofy one?" - Wonko the Sane
